I hope you and your families are all doing well.
Things are still a little uncertain as to when we can start meeting as a group for the upcoming season. I am still hopeful we can start the season on our official start date of August 3rd. I will keep everyone posted.
I wanted to touch base with everyone and do some housekeeping. I know this is a lot, but please read through everything carefully.

I also want to make sure that you all have been running. I know the abrupt end to the track season was not what we were expecting, but getting out and doing some running, walking and exercising is going to help give you a sense of normalcy and prevent injuries when we can start practices.
With that being said, I have come up with “Word Workouts”. Starting on May 19th, I will send out a word and that is your workout for the day. I will do this on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The graphic is attached below. You can do this in addition to your miles for the day or complete the word 3 times for cross training. If you have questions as to what each of these are, please let me know.
Cell Phone Numbers:
I believe I have everyone’s cell phone numbers, but please text me your name so I can ensure I have it. My number is 740-837-3341. I would love to be able to text the word each Tuesday and Thursday morning. You will have all day to get them done and I am asking you to text me when you are done with them.
Continue (or start) running. August 3rd will be here before we know it. I want you all to start the season with a good running base. I am asking high school runners to get 200 miles and junior high runners to get 120 miles OR 800 minutes of running before August 3rd.
